Congratulations to this dynamic team for winning Van Buren’s school showcase for the OSLN Design Challenge Competition. They designed an artificial gravity breakroom for astronauts on Starlab. Their ambitious and out of the box idea was an amazing design that could someday aid in mental health for astronauts during their long adventures in space. Their project will be submitted to the District hub and may have a chance to compete at the State level! #stemorbitsohio

This week was all about giving! We concluded our Toys for Tots collection organized by Deputy Crouch. Over in the elementary, Mrs. Swaney's class has been gathering donations for Chopin Hall while Mrs. Lafountain's class has been gathering donations for the Humane Society. In the high school, our Chick-fil-A Leader Academy gathered over 80 items for City Mission. Way to go, Black Knights! #BeABlackKnight
