If you would like your students to learn more about any of the following career options, here are some upcoming EXPLORING Post Meetings they can attend:
Dentistry - Doty Dental - Monday, November 13 @ 5:30 P.M. at 811 S. Main St., Findlay
Healthcare - Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital - Tuesday, November 14 @ 5:30 P.M. at 45 St. Lawrence Drive, Tiffin
IT (Information Technology) - Marathon - Wednesday, November 15 @ 6:00 P.M. at 539 S. Main St., Findlay (park in the visitor lot and check in in the lobby)
Engineering - Marathon - Thursday, November 16 @ 6:00 P.M. at 539 S. Main St. (park in the visitor lot and check in in the lobby)
There are also opportunities in Law Enforcement with the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, Aviation with the City of Findlay Airport, Fire/EMS with Bath Township Fire Department in Lima (a more local program will hopefully be coming soon), another healthcare opportunity with Lima Memorial Hospital, and more!
All of these are great opportunities to learn about careers so you can make informed decisions about your future, and it is never too late to join.

Congratulations to Vivian Brant - Millstream Career Center Student of the Month.
Vivian Brant is an outstanding student from Van Buren High School. She is currently working on getting her STNA Certification. She displays great leadership skills both in and out of her Health Professions Program. She is currently on the Millstream Student Advisory Committee, as well as an elected HOSA Class Representative.
She attended HOSA's Fall Leadership Conference in Oct. and shared the information she learned with her peers.
Vivian displays a great work ethic. Her attendance is excellent and if she is not going to be in class, she always communicates with me. She is always respectful and polite. Her mannerisms and hard-working attitude will make her an amazing healthcare provider. Her goal is to go to college and get her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.


Van Buren Middle School Theater presents The Epic Quest of the Damsels in Distress. Performances will be Saturday, November 4 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, November 5 at 2:00 pm in the Van Buren Schools Auditorium. Purchase your tickets prior to the show at www.our.show/VBMS-EPICQUEST.
