Episode 42 of The Interviewing People Careercast features a conversation with Kristin Conner, a 2015 Van Buren High School graduate who earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) and is now a registered nurse working in the coronary care unit at Blanchard Valley Health System. Today, VBMS 7th graders took part in a real life financial simulation. All 7th graders took part in classes all week developed by the OSU Extension Office during Social Studies to learn financial skills. Today, volunteers from the Extension Office, Hancock Federal Credit Union, State Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and Hancock County 4H led our students through the simulation process where they had to get a job, pay taxes, consider additional education, buy food, vehicles, and insurance while determining whether they would have a family. Thank you to these organizations for helping to provide a fantastic experience for our students! #BeABlackKnight
