"Choose Your Own Happiness" is our theme for the 2022-23 school year at VB Middle School. All teachers and students received a magnet that says "Today I Choose Happiness," as a reminder that while we can't control what happens to us, we can control how we react. See if you can spot these magnets around the school! #BeABlackKnight

The Law Enforcement Exploring Program sponsored by the Hancock County Sheriff's Office will be holding an open house this coming Monday, September 12, at 6:30 P.M. at the sheriff's office (200 W. Crawford St., Findlay).
This program is open to any student aged 14-20 who has completed eighth grade and is a great way for students to determine if law enforcement is a career path they want to continue pursuing beyond high school.
Our School Resource Office, Deputy Matt Crouch, is the Exploring Post Advisor, so students can talk to him at school about this opportunity or reach out to him at mcrouch@vbschools.net.
See the attached flyer for more information.

If any seniors are considering a career in math education or engineering education, Ohio Northern University offers scholarships up to $20,000 per year (based on financial need) for a student's collegiate junior and senior years (up to a total of $40,000 in addition to other financial aid). The scholarships do bring post-graduation expectations with them, so students should do their homework before committing to this opportunity.
