While we're on summer break, enjoy some past episodes of The Interviewing People Careercast to catch up with some Van Buren graduates as they talk about their career experiences. This week's rebroadcast features 2002 graduate John Drerup, a Garment Wash and Fabric Manager for Target. Visit bit.ly/InterviewingPeople to watch this episode and others, and enjoy the show and your summer!

If you are looking for something to do on Monday, June 13, from 5:00-7:00 P.M., the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library Bookmobile will be in the parking lot in front of the school for this year's summer party. There will be snacks, crafts, games, and books - what more could a person want? No library card? That is not a problem because there will be free books!
We would also like to thank the library for bringing the bookmobile to Van Buren throughout the 2021-2022 school year to make books available to students in grades 6-12 during lunch periods every other Monday.
Whether you're able to make it to the summer party on Monday or make a trip to the library or bookmobile throughout this summer, keep reading!

The Interviewing People Careercast is expanding its reach. Now, in addition to being available in video form on YouTube as it has been in the past, it will also be available as an audio-only podcast on Anchor (https://anchor.fm/interviewingpeople), Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/show/2uytiBKsTB1G8yCBJAmV97), and Apple podcasts (search The Interviewing People Careercast). Previous episodes are now available, and new episodes will start again in September.
It will be available on Google podcasts in the near future to make it even more accessible for those who would rather listen than watch.
Enjoy the shows, and if you are a VB graduate who would like to appear on the show to talk about your career experiences, please reach out to Brian Bratt at bbratt@vbschools.net.

Happy Monday! The Interviewing People Careercast is back with the 10-minute highlights of the interview featuring Kristin Conner, a 2015 Van Buren High School graduate who earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) and is now a registered nurse working in the coronary care unit at Blanchard Valley Health System. In the highlights, Kristin discusses what she does as a coronary care nurse, the different levels of education a nurse can gain, the places other than a hospital that a nurse can work, and much more. Anyone interested in a nursing career will find information relevant to getting started down that path in this episode, and you can always go back to watch our full interview if you would like to learn more. To watch these highlights and other episodes, visit www.bit.ly/InterviewingPeople, and enjoy the show!
