This week, members of the Hancock Leadership class visited Van Buren Local Schools to learn more about the experiences we provide for our students! A few highlights of the tour were learning about our elementary STEAM classes, Project Lead the Way courses in the middle school, The Armory (our student ran store), and how our high school students are learning about careers and potentials paths for after high school. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this event possible!

On Tuesday, February 28, students in grades 6-12 are invited to the Lindamood Room at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library from 6:00-7:00 P.M. to learn more about volunteer opportunities both at the library and in the community. Beyond helping the community, students can also help themselves by volunteering. Students who average at least seven hours of volunteering per semester while in high school at VB will earn the Community Service diploma seal. Students need to earn at least two seals before graduation. If there are any current seniors looking for volunteer hours, this is an especially timely opportunity as it could help them gain the hours needed to earn the seal. If students need help tracking their volunteer hours in Transeo, they can reach out to Mr. Bratt for assistance.
