Youth Watershed Summer Institute at The Ohio State University and Ohio Supercomputer Center
This is a great opportunity for middle school students who have shown interest in STEM careers as students will "explore their interests in computer science, math, science, and engineering through hands-on experiences."
Students currently in grades 6-7 can apply to attend either of the June 23-28 or July 7-12 camp sessions. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY APRIL 1.

Summer STEM Camp at The Ohio State University and Ohio Supercomputer Center
Students currently in grades 9-11 can apply to attend either of the June 2-11 or June 12-21 camp sessions. This is a great opportunity for students planning to go into a STEM career as participants will "investigate complex, real-world science and engineering problems using computational science on actual supercomputers." This week's Joust About Careers episode features the 10-minute highlights of the interview with Alan Molyet, a 2010 Van Buren graduate who is a Senior 340B Coordinator at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The highlights focus on what a 340B Coordinator does, how a person can go into pharmacy administration instead of becoming a pharmacist, and how Alan has continued to officiate soccer games while having a career in healthcare administration.
