Parents/guardians, visit bit.ly/AP24CS to see the latest edition of The Career Scoop, containing employment opportunities you might want your students to explore as they begin preparing for their post-high school lives. While this list is not exhaustive and will mostly be relevant to seniors, it is never too early for underclassmen to start thinking about the options that will be awaiting them in the future.
These opportunities could fit a variety of post-high school paths, including apprenticeships and certifications leading to full-time employment, full-time employment, summer employment, and part-time employment while students continue their educations with the goal of earning a debt-free two- or four-year degree.
Also note that the OhioMeansJobs Career Fair 2024 will be held at Findlay High School from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 9. This will be another great opportunity for students to learn about employment opportunities.
If students seeking jobs ever need help with applications, résumés, cover letters, or any other career-related documents, they are welcome to stop in the career advising office for assistance or set up a meeting at bit.ly/VBLearnMore.

Volunteer Opportunities of the Week! This week students have three new ways to volunteer, giving them the opportunity to have a significant impact and log hours toward the Community Service seal. Visit bit.ly/VBLearnMore and click Volunteer Opportunities for more information.
