Here are two career exploration opportunities for students and their parents on May 11 at Kalmbach Feeds in Upper Sandusky and May 13 at GROB Systems, Inc., in Bluffton. Both companies offer apprenticeship opportunities in addition to other career options.

This previous weekend, all VBHS choirs and the VBHS Band attended State Choir and Band Competition! The Band (Class B) received a II (Excellent) in performance and a I (superior) in sight reading ending with an overall rating of II ( Excellent)! The Women's Chorus (Class C) received straight 1's (Superior) in performance and a II (Excellent) in sight reading, ending with an overall rating of 1 Superior! Men's Chorus (Class B) received straight 1's (Superior) in performance and a II (Excellent) in sight reading, ending with an overall rating of 1 Superior! Varsity Chorale (Class A) received straight 1's (Superior) in performance and a II (Excellent) in sight reading, ending with an overall rating of 1 Superior! The students put in lots of hard work leading up to their competitions and we love to see them representing Van Buren in such a fantastic way.
