Here are some students rocking their "Adam Sandler" outfits for the FFA Spirit Week! #BeABlackKnight

On Tuesday, February 28, students in grades 6-12 are invited to the Lindamood Room at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library from 6:00-7:00 P.M. to learn more about volunteer opportunities both at the library and in the community.
Beyond helping the community, students can also help themselves by volunteering. Students who average at least seven hours of volunteering per semester while in high school at VB will earn the Community Service diploma seal. Students need to earn at least two seals before graduation.
If there are any current seniors looking for volunteer hours, this is an especially timely opportunity as it could help them gain the hours needed to earn the seal.
If students need help tracking their volunteer hours in Transeo, they can reach out to Mr. Bratt for assistance.

The teacher for today's Teacher Tuesday post is Mr. Greer! He teaches 7th and 8th grade Language Arts. He has been teaching for 10 years with 4 of them being at Van Buren. He coached Middle School Football and Power of the Pen during his time at Van Buren. He and his wife, Emily, have been married for 5 years. She is currently a School Counselor at Glenwood Middle School in Findlay. They stay busy by taking care of their two-year-old son, Myron, and their beagle, Walter. They are expecting another baby this coming April! As a Van Buren graduate (2008), he could not be more thrilled to be back working with VB students, staff, and community members. He hopes to give students an amazing experience as the Van Buren teachers gave him years ago! #BeABlackKnight
