EXPLORING is a great way for students to learn more about careers, and the local EXPLORING posts will be having open houses on various nights starting next week on Monday, September 18. The open houses will be a great introduction to the programs, allowing you and your students to ask questions to determine if a program will be a good fit.
There are aviation, IT, law enforcement, engineering, dentistry, medical/healthcare, firefighting, and cybersecurity posts, so if any of those careers intrigue students, they can attend the open house(s), visit blackswampbsa.org/exploring, or reach out to EXPLORING director Alex Patterson at Alex.Patterson@Scouting.org to learn more.
