Van Buren High School is proud to announce that Carter Jackson has being selected to represent our school district as part of the OMEA All-State Choir for the third consecutive year!
The Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) All-State Choir is one of the most prestigious honors choirs in Ohio and one of the highest individual achievements available to high school vocalists. Out of roughly 1,200 students who audition across the state each year, fewer than 200 are selected to participate in this elite ensemble.
Following regional rehearsals, Carter will join top vocalists from across Ohio for a four-day event culminating in a performance at the OMEA Conference this January.
We appreciate Carter’s outstanding representation of our school and fine arts programs!
