Congratulations to our newest Hancock Youth Leadership (HYL) graduates! 🎓✨
At a ceremony held today at Winebrenner Auditorium on the University of Findlay campus, juniors Jacob Harrington, Brayden Howard, Lydia Ponn, Jacob Schroeder, and Ellie Scoles became HYL graduates. We would also like to recognize seniors Ben Heitkamp and Patrice Pullom for serving this year as HYL Senior Board Representatives after graduating from the program last year.
From September through April, students participated in sessions focused on business and economic development, health and human services, city and county infrastructure, agriculture, belonging, arts and media, justice and law, and public speaking.
Through this hands-on journey, our students gained invaluable insight into diverse career paths while sharpening their leadership and communication skills.
We appreciate the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce for providing this opportunity for our students to grow and prepare for their future endeavors. We also appreciate our students for positively representing our school district! 🧡🖤
