Chick-fil-A Leader Academy Completes Impact Project

The Chick-fil-A Leader Academy wrapped up the 2024-2025 school year with its Impact Project benefitting the Women's Resource Center (WRC) in Findlay.

The student leaders created New Beginnings Care Kits to support new mothers served by the WRC.  Each care kit contained two baby blankets; a baby bottle; a pacifier; two baby bibs; an assortment of children’s books donated by the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library, Van Buren Elementary School, and VB TESOL teacher Mackenzie Leonard; a box of diapers; a stuffed animal, and a Chick-fil-A gift card.

The kits were delivered to Kaitlyn Kniss, who is the Director of Development at the WRC and a 2015 VB graduate.

Through generous donations from the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy Foundation and local Chick-fil-A franchisee Paul Hadde throughout the year, students had the opportunity to develop their leadership skills with meetings focused on leadership topics and participation in a variety of service projects, including the Million Book Giveaway and Coats for Christmas.
