Why trust the ingredient label when we can break it down and determine the content of antacids ourselves?! - Mr. Schumaker's Chem 2 class #BeABlackKnight

The Van Buren Local Schools Special Education Department is still accepting applications for a 1 on 1 Classroom Aide (part-time/full time). If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of students with multiple disabilities but don't feel like you have the proper training, we will provide training and facilitate securing an educational aide permit.

Parents, if you have a sophomore, junior, or senior considering a career in healthcare, you might want to have your student look at the job opportunities at Blanchard Valley Health System (
https://bvhs.jobs.net/). They have a variety of positions available, and many are open to students aged 16+ who are looking for summer, after-school, or full-time jobs.
Experience is a great teacher, and the experience students gain now could help solidify their future career paths. Students might also figure out that a career in healthcare is not what they want to pursue, and that's still a win.
If students have any questions about careers or the opportunities at BVHS, they can schedule a meeting with Mr. Bratt at bit.ly/VBcareeradvising (URL is case-sensitive).

Yesterday members of the Hancock Leadership class visited Van Buren Local Schools to learn more about the experiences we provide for our students! A few highlights of the tour were the Dash and Dot robots our elementary students use in their STEAM classes, Project Lead the Way courses in the middle school, and The Armory (our student ran store) in the high school. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make yesterday's event possible! #BeABlackKnight
