Parents, if you have a sophomore, junior, or senior considering a career in healthcare, you might want to have your student look at the job opportunities at Blanchard Valley Health System (https://bvhs.jobs.net/). They have a variety of positions available, and many are open to students aged 16+ who are looking for summer, after-school, or full-time jobs. Experience is a great teacher, and the experience students gain now could help solidify their future career paths. Students might also figure out that a career in healthcare is not what they want to pursue, and that's still a win. The 2022 Northwest Ohio Students of the Year campaign has officially ended, and we are so proud of Lainey and Kenna! Together they were able to raise $17,300 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Yesterday members of the Hancock Leadership class visited Van Buren Local Schools to learn more about the experiences we provide for our students! A few highlights of the tour were the Dash and Dot robots our elementary students use in their STEAM classes, Project Lead the Way courses in the middle school, and The Armory (our student ran store) in the high school.
