7th & 8th Grade HAPPY/HYPE members: We need your help! If you have not already signed up to help with the candy cane sale, please see the sheets outside of Mrs. Obenour's room. Look for the highlighted spots on Week #2 & Week #3. Thank you for your help.
The HAPPY/HYPE Candy Cane sale will be happening in the Middle School lunch periods beginning on December 2 through December 20. Candy canes can be purchased for 25 cents each. Get one for yourself, or give one to a friend! Merry Christmas!
Coats for Christmas donations are now being accepted! There is a large box outside the office to drop off your gently used winter coat. They are especially in need of children's and larger size men's and women's coats! Donations will be accepted until November 26th! Coat distribution will take place on Saturday, December 7 from 9 am - 3 pm and Sunday, December 8 from 1 pm - 3 pm at Glenwood Middle School. (Enter at back doors on East side of the building).
Breakfast snacks are available daily in the high school cafeteria. You can charge items to your lunch account or you may pay with cash. We are open to the students in between morning class periods, but if you would like to come and grab something you may at any time during the morning. We have fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, juice, water bottles, granola bars, pop tarts, etc. We also have Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, on request. Eventually we plan to have some warmer items also, like fresh cinnamon rolls and breakfast sandwiches.
Need a quiet place to study? No wi-fi at home? Need help with your homework? Come to Study Tables! Open to all middle school students, Wednesdays after school from 3:05-4:00 starting November 20 in Mrs. Sines's classroom (room 306). NJHS members will be available to assist with homework questions.
We are selling water bottles (large for $1.25 and small for $0.75) in the MS/HS cafeteria during the mornings. Sales can be cash transactions or charged to lunch accounts.
