Van Buren High School / Middle School Guidance
• The ACT June 9 testing deadline fro registration
is May 4.
• Any student who has to complete class credit work
before next year needs to see Mr. Zender by the end of the
school year for make-up work information.
• Applications for summer school courses, including
physical education at Findlay High School, are now available
in the guidance office.
• All local Van Buren Scholarships are now available
in the guidance office.
• Any student in grades 8 through 11 who is interested
in participating in the Post Secondary Education Option program
to earn college and high school credit next year, needs to
contact the guidance office.
• The annual high school awards presentation will be
no Tuesday, June 5 in the high school gymnasium at 10:00 A.M.
Parents and friend are welcome to attend.
• Any 5th, 6th, or 7th grader who is interested in
attending summer caps at Millstream in “Cool Careers”,
Careers in Engineering”, or “Medical Careers”
should contact the guidance office.
• Our Buckeye Boy’s State representative this
year will be John Word and our Buckeye Girl’s State
representatives will be Noreen Murphy and Lauren Caris.
