Mr. Zender is in his sixth year at Van Buren as the High School and Middle School guidance counselor. He had previously spent two years at Arcadia High School and 19 years at Miller City High School. Mr. Zender earned his Bachelors Degree from The Ohio State University and his Masters Degree from The University of Dayton. He and his wife, Sharon, live in Ottawa with their four children, Ryan, 16, Kristen, 13, Tyler, 11 and Kaylee 8.
